“Hey, hey, Nechan,” The Pirate Hunter goaded as he eyed his opponent from top to toe, “You’re in my way.. “ The ever present sinister grin twisted vaguely as the swordsman reached for his third Katana, placing the hilt between his teeth. Zoro then crossed his arms, katana pointed towards the sky as he doubled forwards slightly. “Oni-!” Zoro rushed forwards, closing the gap between himself and Kanda in a blink of an eye. Forced onto the defensive, given the sudden appearance of the new Prime up close, the Exorcist threw his sword in an upward arc. Upon reaching his quarry, Zoro swung his Katana into a descending diagonal slash and let out a harsh “Giri!”, both swords caught by the Exorcist’s upward swing. However, the third blade went under the radar, unexpectedly slashing out horizontally. The Pirate’s third blade caught Kanda’s shoulder, tearing into his uniform and drawing a fair amount of blood, causing Yu Kanda to stumble backwards with a groan, his free hand clutched onto his now cut shoulder.
“Three Katana?! How is that even-” Kanda fumbled over his words, clearly caught off guard, “Regardless.. how will you deal with this?!” The Exorcist leapt into action, his speed increasing with every passing second. Kanda unleashed a flurry of strikes, slashing out at almost every part of Zoro he could possibly reach, causing the Pirate to bolt backwards, managing to catch all but a few of the strikes, blood starting to trickle down his exposed skin. The pair clashed, dancing around each other, katana clashing. The sound carried for a fair way, echoing around the white void.
The Exorcist’s focus, however, fell to pieces as the newcomer called out, apparently recognising him. “Kanda?!” the woman yelled, halting the Prime’s onslaught as he looked over towards his companion. Unfortunately for him, Zoro noticed the slow in pace and rounded the Exorcist, arms outstretched, his katana forming a nigh on horizontal line across his chest. As he ground to a halt before the Exorcist he muttered a condescending; “You should keep your eyes on your opponent! Santoryuu; Tatsumaki!” the Pirate twisted his body, launching a twister of compressed air from his Katana. The Exorcist found himself caught in the twister of energy and air, managing to keep himself from being cut. However, as the twister came to a halt, the outburst of energy flung Kanda backwards and through the Portal that stood behind him, with a somewhat stifled shout of surprise. The Pirate Hunter straightened up once more and sheathed his trio of Katana, each clicking into place.
“You should find your friend.” He called out to the pair nearby, stepping aside slightly as he did so.
