Dynamite Frog
This frog has a sooty grey underbelly and socks on its front feet, with sleek pale brown skin everywhere else that is loosely speckled with a vibrant orange that looks like flotsam sitting upon the surface of a still pond. If a matchstick were to be drawn down its back, it would light up in a sudden plume of orange-yellow flame. Its dark brown eyes are smudged around the edges with charcoal black coloring that looks almost purple, and its feet are flat and webbed. A pair of gills run along its neck, and they bloom outwards with scalloped flaps of reddish skin. The frog is lean and can swim very, very quickly— its speed is hardly comparable to something as sluggish as lightning. Its deep purple tongue is broad and sticks comically out of its mouth most of the time. Its ribbit is akin to a radio's staticky crackle. You believe that this frog could get into a lot of trouble, once it has thawed.
