So you're going to sit there at the fountain and wait for a secondary to pick you up? And then the secondary can swing you around? Is it more like mind control or "YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE" kinda deal

Nope, no mind control. And not like a chosen one thing either. Anyone could just pick up the sentient sword and communicate with it (that's what the Telepathy is for after all ). If the sword-bearer is defeated in battle, the winner can just take the sword.

Recently, I've been thinking about my alt, and I think I've figured it out. What I'd like to do is something similar to Zangetsu, but unique in it's own way. My character will be a dimension-hopping sword known as the Bejeweled Blade. When it enters the Omniverse, it will scatter it's 14 jewels across the verses. It will gain many powers through it's adventures in the Omniverse, but in order to use said powers, it must have the corresponding jewel inserted in the sword (Yes, you can slot all the jewels in the sword at once). In order to gain the these jewels, anyone can preform one of the special quests I will set up in order to obtain the corresponding jewel.

Eventually, seeking out the jewels will involve the current sword-bearer fighting those who have the missing jewels in order to acquire them. But, there is a risk. If the sword-bearer loses a battle and it's opponent decides to take the sword rather than destroy it, they will become the new sword-bearer and the gems slotted in the sword will be re-scattered except for one chosen by the sword-bearer for each time they've acquired the sword.

So, what do you guys think? I'm open to feedback, comments, suggestions and I'm looking to see who's interested in this idea.
