Character history:
No one knows the origin or birth of the dimension-hopping sword Koren. All that is known is that in times of need, he appears, helping the soon to be champion of the battle. Once his help is no longer needed and his gems have been collected, he moves on to the next world. Koren has been to Earth multiple times during his history, under a different name each time. The bejeweled blade of Achilles, or the legendary sword Excalibur are a few of these examples. The blade was also briefly used at one point by Axorn's father in the future version of Earth known as Tranquility. As the blade was hopping to the next world that needed his help, he stopped all of a sudden, the universes no longer flying by him. He was pulled into the mysterious world of the Omniverse by Omni.

Koren is a straight long sword ~130 cm long with a golden hilt that stretches part way up the blade. There are slots in the hilt where each of it's fourteen gems are placed. Five on the front, five on the back, and four at the base of the hilt. Koren cannot currently move on his own and must be carried by another character. As he takes damage, scratches, chips, and and even part of the blade breaking off may occur. To kill him, all his opponent has to do is shatter him.

Some quick questions.
So you're the sword. How are you supposed to take damage, die, and/or get banished? Does the sword slowly degrade? Also does he just hop or float or how does it move? Also can he swing himself? Also just about how long is the sword itself

The sword takes damage by getting scratched, broken etc. And currently the sword cannot move on it's own. It is ~130cm long.

So you're going to sit there at the fountain and wait for a secondary to pick you up? And then the secondary can swing you around? Is it more like mind control or "YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE" kinda deal

Nope, no mind control. And not like a chosen one thing either. Anyone could just pick up the sentient sword and communicate with it (that's what the Telepathy is for after all
). If the sword-bearer is defeated in battle, the winner can just take the sword.Edit: Just for reference, I posted this with my main as an interest check in the discussion forum explaining what I planned to do with the sword:

So, what do you guys think? I'm open to feedback, comments, suggestions and I'm looking to see who's interested in this idea.
