I actually liked both Kuro and the Kreig arcs better than the arlong park arc. It was interesting to see how Kuro was actually one of the best liars in the show being able to fool the entire island for years, and the Kreig arc had Sanji who at the start of the show was really cool, also it has the first appearance of Mihawk who is pure awesomeness. Arlong I feel might look pretty bad in live action and as one piece arcs go I feel its a bit more depressing than the normally fun tone of one piece (the other arcs do have darker moments but also have more comedy).
