Is it that improbable, though? In a world where people can turn into monsters, fly, and shoot laser beams out of their bums, can Asriel really not "de-age"?

It's just an aesthetic choice. Maybe Asriel needs to find some kind of item or stumbles into a terrible time distortion or ...something. I'm not saying just revert for no raisin but it seems like it'd be an easy thing to explain away.

I could be wrong, though.
