I've always been confused why 'Joy' or 'Happiness' wasn't part of the official emotional spectrum in DC. Did they just run out of colors?
It seems like a cool idea, but I'm confused about two things: Logic isn't an emotion. It's not even a suppression of emotions. It's just a way of thinking. Emotions can get in the way, but how would someone become less logical by suppressing the emotion of willpower? I'd even say that 'increasing your focus' or 'pushing away other emotions' would both fall under willpower.
The second thing is, is this an original concept simply inspired by emotion-fueled Lanterns, or is this your own reboot idea for Lanterns in general? Like, would they still call themselves Lanterns? Are they color-coded? Apparently only Greed can use hard-light constructs.
As far as unique powers/universal powers, I like what you have with joy=flight. Peter Pan and all that. But I think super-speed also works well.
