Since this is my first time attempting this, I had to do a bit of research.
I've tested the process of actually getting the map revealed and having the AI take control of it all and succeeded. Setup 50% complete.
I'm now in the process of using some free time to quickly code your civilizations, since name changing only works for the player. When the civilizations are done, I can start letting the game do its thing.
