Civilization: Beyond Omniverse
#1
I have a REALLY freaking dumb idea that might just be hilarious.

There's a small fad in the Civilization community that involves letting the AI control their nations and fight bouts against themselves without player interference. With some mods to configure a decent setup, it's possible to sim an entire game in this fashion as you monitor the world with your submarine under the shadows of packed ice, meaning player control is essentially nil.

Here's where the Omniverse comes in. People who want to join in this little experiment can post their characters and the names of what they want their empire and title to be (for example, Rubick, Grand Magus of The Society).

I'll put everyone who joins in in command of a nation. Starting positions and the characteristics of the AI will be randomized and impartial. I can then provide screenshots of major events as I sim the conflict in my free time. I'm still deciding whether it'll be completely Domination victory or if there'll be other victories enabled, but rest assured it should be interesting depending on who joins.

Also this might not even work...but...no reason not to try. SCIENCE DEMANDS IT!
