I've no issue with it feeling unfair, and it's not as though a point here or there was going to save my score, but when the score's less than 5 It means there's room to improve and I appreciate hearing how and where I went wrong.
Just for the record, on that scoring scale, a 5 would mean you should be a professional author. As Sinbad (who authored that template) would say, no one should receive a 5 on anything, and I wouldn't be surprised if he felt most people shouldn't receive 4s.
I think that's the entire reason why he made a post a few days ago that different judges will give out different scores.
