Moveset Analysis
#61
When I wrote against Tearen in the latest DA, I noticed a few of his Moves were geared towards a "once per round" deal. Those with that caveat I excluded from my own writing, as I didn't feel comfortable "wasting" his Move in my own post, so he'd be unable to use it in his own.

That said, he and Malon absolutely stomped me and Archer in that fight as well. Probably a combination of superior writing and overwhelming power. The guy IS like #2 on the OM Rankings.

If you're THAT concerned about fighting people that you're "weak" against, look into tipping the odds in your favor. For example, I went to take down Android 17 not long ago. But I did so after he was weakened by a recent fight. Yeah, I still lost, but the results were far closer than they'd have been if I'd tried to fight him at full-strength. Another example would be when The Institute went after Volvagia. Tea didn't try to solo the dragon. He gathered a team, made plans with the Gorons, and pushed every conceivable variable he could to his favor. If you feel like a fight won't go your way, you have more options than: "I'ma just go for it and hope for the best."
