Hello,
I am new this place and I must say I've already been coming to similar conclusions that you have. I have to wonder though if the might be some other way to strike back against the one who's done this to us. Or perhaps deprive him of a meal or two. The Mad God stole me from a world I was going to attempt to leave already myself but in the process has put me in one that may in fact be worse. And its really by no stretch of the imagination hard to imagine how a place this is even exists.
Its at odds with everything I know of my science and philosophy. Even the works of the Sage has no good wisdom to express such circumstances. However as with everything I do see one silver lining.
Like you I'm trying to exploit the existence of Omnilium. But have you noticed how the Mad God is incapable of saying anything other than the exact same message to every prime it summons? I've only managed to talk to a few of our people and most of my conjecture comes from boards of the Dataverse but what I have found shows me that the Mad God lacks imagination, or is so alien to us that he cannot utilize anything close to our frame of mind.
This is a weakness we can exploit.
But it cannot be done with omnilium, not directly. I have to do more research but imagine if you could teach omnilium to create something that it cannot be. Like the first electric oven being turned on to generate microwaves. The omnilium is not microwaves (or perhaps it is, research needed) but the point is Omnilium and perhaps the mad god himself feed off of novelty. But what happens when we create something that is alien to him and even the physics that 'rule' the Verses?
Like I said and wrote myself we would never be able to challenge him directly with just a pure source of OM, that would be like trying to fight a tidal wave with a water pistol. Unfortunately I believe there is more omnilium in today's reality than there was in the beginning or even yesterday, and the excess of that whenever we transform it from one form to another is fed to him, or when one of dies a temporary death.
What we need is a means to perhaps finding a way to cause omnilium to behave as an antithesis to him.
Its a start and I plan on doing more research but at the moment this is mostly supposition.
