As to further explain the attack further, it's a simple attack with long range means. Yes, it can affect the area around the other side with a violent burst of it's energy and once the attack has been launched, SARU can't control the trajectory, it's a straight-on shot from there. Wherever he launches from, it's going in that one direction.
