In no particular order:
Super Mario Bros. 3: I WAS ADDICTED TO THIS GAME. I had difficulty beating it as a child but I had recently defeated it and I feel good about myself.
Sonic 3 and Knuckles: This game is how Sonic 3 was supposed to be. Even though Sonic 2 was good, this trumps it.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: I loved this game. In fact, I still have it and most of my time was spent on stages and whatnot.. though I loved going to the Chao Gardens. <3
Donkey Kong Country 2: Do I have to say it? I LOVE this game. I mostly liked playing as Dixie Kong to get over the hard areas.
Super Paper Mario: The underrated gem of the Paper Mario series. TTYD was awesome and the original was fun but seriously this game is a tearjerker.
Mother 3: Beautiful game, I cried so hard at the end.
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Ape Escape: A classic, though the 3rd game trumps it, nothing wrong with the original. I've played On the Loose and that's good.
Super Smash Bros. Melee: I don't know why but this installment of the series seems to keep my attention.
Crash Bandicoot: I grew up with this game on the original PSX. I couldn't stop playing it.
Honorable mentions: Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario/TTYD, Donkey Kong 64, Sonic 2, Earthbound, Klonoa, Ape Escape 3, Blinx, Okami and well, alot more. MY LIST IS TOO LONG.
