- Resident Evil Remake (GCN) - Alex pretty much covered this. The original RE was a solid game, but the remake just totally made every single thing better--revamped graphics, cleaner mechanics, etc. I played the hell out of this game, in my teens. I hated using Chris (because of his lack of inventory slots, on his person), but the challenge of it on the hardest difficulty (no inventory box links >_<) was pretty damn enjoyable. The only thing that kinda got to me was the fact the two characters' stories weren't more intertwined.
- Resident Evil 2 (PS1/GCN) - To me, this is one of the greatest game equals in history. Took everything from the first one and just pumped it full of steroid; from the beginning of the game, you're thrown right into the excitement. I enjoyed playing as both characters in this game.
- Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN) - My favorite game sequel of all time, right here. I can't tell you guys how many nights were spent simply training (3vMe, if you must know, all on handicap and lvl9 difficulty). Loved using the Luigi Possum Uppercut, and don't even get me started on Roy (he's my boy!).
- Call of Duty: World at War (Xbox360)- This was my favorite CoD; MP40 with extended clip, GG. Used to play HC Team Deathmatch, HC Search and Destroy, and Headquarters. I've seen people go on 60+ killing sprees on Headquarters before. Ruthless shit.
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) - this game was just WOW. Major props to GTA for implementing RPG aspects to the game, and they really made the difference; eat burgers all day and become fat, or work out and get buff as hell (D-Bo, maybe?).
- Animal Crossing (GCN) - IDK why, but I was heavily addicted to this game. I used to timeskip, just to accumulate fruits in mass, and get to my favorite fishing season. >_> I made my basement into a WWE wrestling paradise, my living room into something you'd see at grandmas, and my entire bedroom was checker-themed, with many SNES games.
- Final Fantasy X - This is my favorite FF game, ever. The story just fascinated the hell outta me, and for the most part (except for Tidus's awkward moments) I enjoyed all the character interactions and developments. Like someone said before me, the Sphere Grid was the shit; I wish they used it in more FF games. Once you take Wakka into Auron's grid, and learn Zombie Shot, its GG. You can literally kill everyone with Wakka--Zombie Shot, Phoenix Downs.
- Final Fantasy IX (PS1) - Another awesome FF game. To be honest, I enjoyed the IX characters much more than the X characters. The only reason X is my favorite is because of the Sphere Grid.
- Chrono Trigger (SNES) - My favorite RPG, ever. Do I really need to explain this?
- Twisted Metal 2 (PS1) - I'm the only Twisted Metal fan? >_> Minion was the shit.
- Grandia 2 (DC) - I beat this game in one binge; I was addicted. Loved the characters, the story, the bosses, everything.
- Skies of Acardia (DC) - A RPG with skycap battles. This game was the shit.
I can't think of any others right now, but these are the ones that really stand out at the moment.
