What Are Your Favorite Video Games?
#2
Silent Hill 1 to 4 (PSX and PS2): I love all the original Silent Hill games. ALL OF THEM. 2 was my personal favourite but there is something about the original games that make me want to play them over and over again. To me Silent Hill was what survival horror was about! At least until the US made games. Those were all kind of meh. Sigh.

Baldur's Gate I & II (PC): I love BioWare and basically will buy anything they ever release (and so far have) but these two started my love for the company. They were the first fantasy games I ever played on the PC, which lead to me ranting about them to a friend who introduced me to Neverwinter Nights as well. Still, Baldur's Gate. So much <3.

Final Fantasy VI (Otherwise known as FF III in North America, SNES): This game got me into JRPGs BIG time. It was also the first SNES game I ever bought. Special place in the ole' heart and what not.

Chrono Trigger(SNES): Because.... Chrono. Trigger. That game is my favourite JRPG ever. EVER. I loved the game play, the story, the whole damn thing!

Eternal Darkness - Sanity's Requiem (GameCube): This was a GameCube game made by a company back in Ontario I actually lived close to at one point. The game itself was awesome and it was the first time I have seen a sanity meter where what you see actually effects you and the lower it goes the more shit you start to see. I really liked this one! Sadly the company, Silicon Knights, had to go stupid and sue Unreal over their engine, lost, and then went bankrupt so we will never see a sequel probably.

Blades of Steel (NES): The only sports game I have ever or will ever like. Simple hockey game for the NES. I liked it, shut up.

Legend of Zelda - A link to the past (SNES): Favourite of the Zelda games, I love them all but this one is my fav, second is the original NES game of course.

So many more NES titles that I played as a kid that I just can't remember the name of, so many modern ones that were decent enough but didn't leave that much of an impression on me. Still, those were my all time favourites.

Honourable mention - Southpark Stick of Truth: It was short, but a decent game. I really did like it and even played through it a few times.
