A world without He-man

"I wonder why the glowy stuff is rainbow colored. Did you know homicide is socially acceptable way to get cash among rainbows? Cause there's a pot of gold at every rainbow's end."
Rin was bored. The Thunder God seemed focused on doing... something with the Omnilium, and Skullface seemed strangely untalkative as he brought out his own omnilium to look at. How long did she have to wait here?
As long as she was stuck in this spot, however, she might as well make use of it. Her powers were useful in a pinch, but she needed a better way to defend herself. A weapon of some sort would be nice. She looked about the blank canvas of the nexus. Not even a rock to bash people over the head with. Hopefully this Camelot place would have something more than emptiness. Probably not. Omni's creativity was limited after all. But maybe there were others at Camelot. Like the Empire Warriors, except not trying to kill her. Rin liked the sound of that.
The sound of horses pawing the ground knocked Rin from her thoughts. Where did those come from? Had Thor summoned them somehow? Maybe he was a god of horses as well.
He instructed Rin and Skullface to get on one to go to this camelot place. Rin eyed the horses with distaste. Her feet probably wouldn't even reach the stirrups. But before she had a chance to ask for a pony instead, the roar of the metallic riding beasts sounded in the distance. The empire warriors were returning.
Stirrups or not, Rin was up in that saddle in an instant, urging the horse forward after the retreating thunder god. Skullface was right behind.
It was lucky the horse seemed to be well trained. Rin did nothing but hang on for dear life. She watched the warriors nearing behind the small fleeing group. Don't look back. As long as she didn't look back, they'd get away. Rin faced her eyes forward, noticing for a moment how limp the kid was looking, slung across the back of the horse like that. Then something else caught her attention.
Up ahead, another group was coming. Rin peered into the distance, trying to make out if they were friend or foe. Distaste filled her eyes as she realized who, no, what they were.
She tightened her hands around the horses reigns and gritted her teeth against the wind. "Elves. I hate elves."
