If there was a better final boss, it'd probably be Kefka or Jon Irenicus.

So. Much. This. I would take fantastic writing and characterization any day over a 300 million dollar budgeted game filled with unrelatable, boring, 1-dimensional characters.

Kefka and Irenicus are incredible villains. I don't think Magus or Ganondorf could hold a candle to either one. Mind, as Proto said, Magus turns out to be not really a villain at all (holy fuck there's so much debate/theories/blah blah that go into who/what Magus was from villain to 'true' protagonist, etc, that it's all pretty convoluted).

Jeff and I actually discussed one of us should have been Kefka lmao

What happened to characters like that?
