Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

When you can die standing up, like a bad ass, then you can talk to me about who's the better villain.

Re: Magus... - Magus - 09-25-2013

Aw it's cute when the rabble thinks it's people.

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't believe I'm people. I'm as far beyond the normal breed of mortals as they are above bacterium.

Re: Magus... - Magus - 09-25-2013

Lives an infinite number of lives, is continually foiled by a Peter Pan wannabe.

Oh yeah. Far and away, for sure.

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

Actually, that boy is only the conduit from which the devious women on my world defeat me. The Goddess Hylia, embodied within the sword. The Princess Zelda, using the powers she inherited from this same Goddess, to weak and disable me. You claim one foolish mortal can defeat me? You're a bigger fool than he. No, it is the powers of a Goddess that continually, and the combined efforts of six different races that are finally able to put me down, not including the fact that the boy and his wench control two third of a force which can grant any desire, of which I only possess the final portion.

You, on the other hand, are bested by an amphibian with a possibly divine sword, your own boy antagonist, and a woman who spent her whole life pampered in a castle. Additionally, you often fail at your plans without a single outside force acting against them. And yet you mock me? You truly are a fool.

Re: Magus... - Magus - 09-25-2013

Blah blah blah. Trinkets and baubles. Sounds like the same story over and over again (oh wait a minute, Shigeru Miyamoto, that -does- sound pretty familiar, dunnit?). You need new material.

Woulda succeeded if I didn't get stabbed in the back by a legendary sword while summoning something actually scary, btw.

Y'know, something worth losing a fight to. Not a 10-year-old? And certainly not, y'know, again, and again, and agaaaaaaaaiiiiiin.

Notice how Magus' HP dropped from 6666 to like nothing? That's... that's actually canon. Without the Masamune, he couldn't be touched. Not by Crono, Frog, Link, Ganondorf, or anyone. :hur:

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

Huh... That DOES sound familiar, now that you mention it. Like how I Ganondorf can only be defeated with the Master Sword. Or how he's untouchable without the use of Light Arrows, Silver Arrows, and similar uniquely rare items. Also, I hate to burst your bubble, but Magus can in face be touched without the Masamune, as Lavos clearly demonstrates... repeatedly.

So, you lose against a single beast, something I typically summon to guard meaningless caves just for the hell of it. I lose against the combined might of a world, the combination of extremely rare and powerful magic and weapons, and I still don't REALLY die. The best these fools can do is banish me for a few hundred years. Tell me, can Magus just... you know, not die? Ever?

Thought not.

As for Miyamoto, why mess with a winning theme? Why do you think Chrono Cross sucked so bad? They tried the same thing, and people realized it sucked. You're a one hit wonder, pal. One good game against an entire series of good games? I'm afraid you lose.

Re: Magus... - Eighteen - 09-25-2013

I'd rather make out with Magus, just saying.

*watches and eats popcorn*

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

The pasty-skinned vampire wannabe? I suppose there's no accounting for tastes, yet I'd assume the sun-darkened, red-haired, and green-eyed statue of Adonis would be the more preferable of the two.

But what do I know? Maybe emos are your thing.

Re: Magus... - Eighteen - 09-25-2013

No, I'm actually into...

[Image: raditz_in_colours_by_gaaragirlshirinaj-d35v3nr.jpg]

Too bad neither of you can match up to the awesomeness that is this villainous specimen.

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

Tell.that hippy to get a hair cut.

Re: Magus... - Magus - 09-25-2013

He's a villain??

I always thought he was more of... like... kind of a hero/sociopath. It's... a weird... he's... different.

Re: Magus... - Eighteen - 09-25-2013

He kinda does his own thing...

Re: Magus... - Magus - 09-25-2013

Ganondorf! I suggest we put aside our differences in the interest of GETTING ON LINK'S ASS TO POST GODDAMMIT!

And also while you and Link bicker I can go and make out with that cute blond with the popcorn over there.

Or I mean, you know, business stuff. Accounting. Castles are uniquely taxed, you know.

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-25-2013

Stop detailing my Magus bashing thread with your talk of terrible Saiyans and their inferiority to me.

And Link should indeed post. It'd be terrible if, when the time of our epic battle comes, he were to die easily.

Re: Magus... - Sarah_Kerrigan - 09-25-2013

Just pointing out again:

That you two have a weird relationship.

That is all.

Re: Magus... - Proto Man - 09-26-2013

Lavos was a world-eating time-monster.

And Chrono Cross didn't suck. It's not its fault they did something different rather than just rehash the same concepts and themes forty times (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, FINAL FANTASY)

I'm pretty sure that Ganondofus is technically the better villain, since I recall Magus being a good guy by the end of the game.

Re: Magus... - Nanoha Takamachi - 09-26-2013

Gannondouch is the boss for one of what I feel to be the best final boss fights in gaming history- Wind Waker.

It's... Difficult to beat how amazing the atmosphere of that fight was.

If there was a better final boss, it'd probably be Kefka or Jon Irenicus.

Re: Magus... - Kenpachi Zaraki - 09-26-2013

Magus is better because scythes.

Re: Magus... - Ganondorf - 09-26-2013

Scythes are cliché and for losers. It's all about swords and such.
