Pretty much every aspect of rulership in a place like the Omniverse is gonna hinge on power and control, not necessarily the good of the people. The lack of abundance of Omnilium is a powerful factor for leaders and peasants to contend with; people gotta eat but soldiers also need weapons. Where is the balance drawn?
Even then a ruler is only as good as the subordinates that carry out his will. Even if Aragorn is a nice guy, that doesn't mean all of his officials are. And a Revolution doesn't HAVE to mean that it's against EVERYTHING in the Kingdom.
There's a lot of nuanced, cool things you can do here, like the balance of good and order when the revolution kills a bad man, but a bad man who was an important member of the court. If the court doesn't crack down on it, that shakes the foundation of the entire political structure.
What kicks off a rebellion could be as simple as one Secondary starving to death. It could be as simple as one child dying. It could be as simple as a new tax on Tea.
Also, if you read the history, you'll see that Aragorn is far from being the paragon of good. He's made some harsh calls in the past and made a lot of enemies, and I wouldn't call Camelot a perfectly harmonious place either.
So in short, I think this idea is great and has a lot of potential if you delve into the mentality and rationale (rather than just trying to be generic assholes/terrorists).
But-but-but-but-but-but generic assholes/terrorists! :eng99:
