If you're active and motivated, you can break into the top 5 easily. You have the skill and an engaging enough character to go places, as well as the SP to make more than a few people bleed. Don't be afraid to get scrappy with people if it means you can earn another weapon or two, as you obviously have at least a basic idea of how strategy plays a role here.

In terms of allys/solo -- I think you could pull off either. Like many of the semi-active people or people coming off of breaks, an ally might help keep you active and writing at a high level if you pick the right person.
