Abbot Pence: Some of you might remember this guy. My GW2 character, also my alias in several other places because it's one of the few names I actually put together entirely on my own. What you may not know is that he's actually part of a dynamic duo of thief and engineer, the other half of which is named Olette Costello. I made the characters with a RL friend of mine, and we took the names from a pair of great comedians, and one of the most obvious secondary character relationships in all of fiction.
Hayden Katran: My french gypsy Keyblader OC who uses Circle of Life and usually ends up using the Keyblade's shape to pull off death-defying acrobatics. I actually pissed someone off with this character because he would intersperse French into his sentences, which absolutely infuriated the admin of the site I was on at the time. His name came from a crazy brainstorming session over a rousing game of Board Game Online. I think I was the only one sober that night, if I'm entirely honest.
Royce ______: My standard Song of Ice and Fire RPG character. His last name varies depending on the house that the players make, though he is, invariably, not a blood relation. The name was chosen ironically; Royce means "royal", which this man is anything but. A middle-aged swordsman who took an arrow to the knee in a fight, and still managed to pull off something that indebted the head of the house to him, changing depending on the game. Invariably takes the position of Master-at-Arms, and takes special care to train the firstborn male heir to defend himself. Usually ends up delegating his Master-at-Arms responsibilities to a second to make sure that the travelling party has at least one capable person, and usually ends up decapitating one of the inevitable bandit ambushers pretty much the second the first fight starts.
