Tell me animes that I should watch

We've discussed Shinsekai Yori, and I have since watched the first episode of the English dub, which I believe to be good enough.

Obviously you don't look much like you'll be getting into any romance-y or slice-of-life sort of stuff, BUT if you're just barely interested the best starting place is probably either Toradora, White Album 2, or even Kokoro Connect, only the last of which has any sort of supernatural stuff really at all. I'm not sure about English dubs on the last two, but Toradora's is hilarious.

As far as standard Shounen stuff, I think it's mostly covered by the above comments.

Oh, and there's Zero no Tsukaima, which sort of jump-started the modern Tsundere thing. It's far more romcommy than shounen, but it has some good action sequences as well.

If you watch the first episode of any of these (Other than Shinsekai Yori - That one may take a few to get into, but it's worth it) and don't like it, you can probably skip it.

Also, hell yes GX was the shit. Watched all 200-ish episodes, and the quality was solid throughout. (Though the last quarter never got an English dub)
