1: Eminem. This guy is the person who got me into rap music. I don't like all the stuff that he does, but there's a lot of his songs that I absolutely love, like Monster, Rap God, and Lose Yourself.
2: Macklemore. Only lost the top spot by a hair. I love his lyrics to death. Things like the entirety of Starting Over, and the opening to Thin Line; "The greatest trick that the devil ever pulled was convincing women that they look better in their makeup."
3: Jay-Z. Mostly by association with Linkin Park, including that one brilliant moment where he, Chester, and Paul McCartney were on stage performing at the same time.
4: Andre 3k. CLASS OF 3000, SING!
5: Rakim. Honestly, at this point, I don't have a reason. I just like some of the work he does.
