Best to just leave the complex questions to me in the future, guys. It cuts down on the confusion a lot.
Generally for summoning extra versions of yourself, I just recommend a Summon. There's a caveat at the bottom of the page that states: "Simple, weak summons may be counted as move. They must be single-minded (for example, a zombie which just seeks out the nearest target to attack would be fine to purchase with a 300 OM move) and have the same limitations as any other move."
Ex, Buu's clone move from the ideas topic: "Buu Clone 300
Buu creates a clone of himself. The clone's only use is to fly at the opponent, punching them until it is destroyed or runs out of steam. It is not smart enough to do anything else, nor can Buu control it. It is easily destroyed, but an effective distraction."
So you basically have two ways of going about it, the way you described. One is a summon. Obviously the extra Links aren't as strong as main Link (I'd put DEF at 0 to represent they go down to a solid attack).
Two is to create a series of moves like "Clone Link Attack", "Clone Link Defend", that kind of thing. You can say that using the Four Sword drains Link's fatigue or something by summoning copies.
Actually, I just thought of a third. You could create a Super Move. Tier 1 is fine.
Four Sword Activate - Tier 1 Super Move
Raising his Four Sword high into the air, Link splits into four versions of himself, clad in green, blue, purple and red. They each have the same power as him (though cannot use Super Moves or Transformations).
You can either say that they last for say, thirty seconds, or until any Link takes a hit as you previously described.
With the case of these SP-draining moves, you can use them in personal storylines and not worry about counting the SP.

Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!
