>Bounties, check out the bounty board. You can hunt people down and kill them to get a bit of a bonus. Some only give a few hundred OM, others give even more. Please check the rules on this subject before attempting it.
>Recognition/Acendancy: Write a lot in a singlr verse and get recognised for it. You need 50k for recognition. Acendancy is a lot harder and essentially requires you somewhat getting control of a verse in part. Will take a very long time, you'll need friends, and you'll need at least 100k words (likely 200k). Both only give minor OM bonuses and a boost to rest points.
>Monthly Voting
>Book Club (read someone else's work and review it, providing constructive feedback about what you liked or didn't like - there is a specific topic each fortnight or so you can find it in the Omniverse Discussion forum)
In short, write more. And, if you want some extra, write well and/or find a friend to write with. Do monthly voting, and then maybe find a few bounties to track down.
Suggestion: Could we put all this information in one spot under the "About The World" page, either with its own section or in combination with the "Obtaining Omnilium" section? Also with proper inbound and outbound linking for easy navigation?
I think it would really help out the newer people who want to gain an edge, but don't quite know where to look yet.
