You are here to provide help to others movesets yes? Your first move doesn't follow the first part of the Moves FAQ, that cooldown doesn't really affect the power of your move. That is what I would like a response to.
I've always considered in moves that some things go without saying. The more benefits your move has, comparatively to another move the weaker it is. A very simple move like my One Shot Fireball. It has one advantage of being large which reduces its power but its not particularly fast or slow, or unusually strong. For this it also has no significant drawback. Against your move that deflects projectiles with a 0.5 second cast time, would it deflect? Would the fireball stop and destroy the shield on impact instead of being deflected? Would its size envelop the shield instead and partially pass by? After all, your move isn't an area defense and this attack is an area attack. With Desco's 4 ATK to your 5 TEC you would have the edge.
Its the only move you have I have a particular problem with. I think talking of your moveset is properly on topic
Desco has four other moves that would be difficult to block with this defense inherently. Her basic magics are all summoned on top of you. Fire bursts from below your feet, ice covers you from above, a tornado also bursts at your feet and stars attack you from three lateral directions.
Her basic melee attacks with Yogsothoth are normally a two directional strike, with only a 3 foot coverage Desco could inherently work around it stretching around and attacking from two different sides.
The move isn't perfect against Desco but that isn't the point.
She also has an advantage that were a fight in the Nexus you may have a hard time teleporting with your out of sight teleport, because Desco has 360 degree vision. There isn't anything outside of her field of vision. But Desco isn't consciously aware of that field of vision either, Yogsothoth instinctively reacts to what the additional eyes see while catching Desco unawares if you stab her in the back.
