"You're going to need more than the pitiful gadgets that you have made so far. Summon them all, and we will see what we have to work with," commanded the Chaos Bringer. As he did not want to make the Chaos Bringer decide to take back the agreement to educate him, Rafael did as he had been bidden. Every weapon he could manifest was made and laid down. Unicron took his time, examining them. The Vorpal Saber was a good weapon for melee combat, and the Tablet was a good item for ranged combat as were the Mech Energy Pistols. The Power Gauntlet V1 he had manifested was a decent tool when it came to punching someone but lacked the ranged capability it would eventually need. This left a major gap in the arsenal of Rafael, should it come to defense based moves. In addition the child lacked anything with any real stopping power behind it. Perhaps a rocket launcher might be a good welcome addition to the equipment of the boy given the dangerous nature of the Omniverse. On the other hand powered armor might be the hot ticket. Really there were a lot of methods capable of being used to provide the equipment that the two of them were going to need.
"Now, let's see here," thought Unicron out loud as he considered the possibilities. Speed was the key here. Something lightweight, but extremely useful. Having watched Rafael flip around and perform acrobatic maneuvers earlier, Unicron had an idea. Perhaps what he needed was not a rocket launcher, but something with a bit less oomph, though a bit more speed in terms of actual deployment capabilities. Something that could be wielded regardless if someone jammed all manner of technology and made it hard for technology to function. It would also be a good tool for cooking because facing facts, Rafael was going to have to learn to do so at some point - best if he learned how to do so immediately.
"Ah. These will do nicely," smirked Unicron as he held out his hand. Omnilium began to reconfigure for the first time ever into something that Unicron wanted. The piece of equipment he was making resembled a throwing knife. However it could be used for more than just the purpose that it looked like for. It could be used for climbing purposes, and also to chop food. They could also be thrown.
Rafael took over, and then looked at the 5 knives that were near him. Targets had been set up by Unicron that were simple circular targets.
One of the knives was picked up, and thrown but he missed the target entirely. Frowning, Rafael picked up another, and hurled it. Like the first this one went wide of the target - way wide, but did not hit anyone. Still his am was too far off.
"I've got a long way to go," sighed Rafael.
