Staring at the sillhouette of Darkshire in the distance, Fukawa resettled herself on the scooter's seat with something of a noncommital grunt. She didn't have to like it- well, she didn't like it at all- but she needed to put up with this stupid journey through stupid monstertown because... well, to be honest, because she was not about to just ask someone to go out of the way for her. Not out of pride or anything like that, but just out of sheer lack of knowledge on social customs. And she wasn't about to make an ass of herself trying.
It would be less painful to just shut up and die.
When Leo showed her the map of the direction they were going, she traced it vaguely with her eyes, not really storing the information whatsoever. How could she? She wasn't about to memorize an entire map in moments, like some sort of cartography savant- and she still had no experience with the surrouding area beyond a quick visual survey. It was a ways, but the scooter was fast, and presumably they could stop.
"It d-doesn't matter... If you just dump me in town, I'll... j-just have to figure things out from there." This was not an encouraging proclamation from Fukawa, but she wasn't willing to give a more serious answer- as she wasn't sure herself what she wanted to do. She was more confused than anything else, really.
It felt like she was forgetting something extremely important. And not just how she got here, what she was doing beforehand, where she even was, and almost literally everything else.
