Leo was a good driver. It's not like he almost lost balance the moment he crossed the portal to the barely paved road and let himself and his passenger fall down on a vehicle at 80mph. Not at all. Not even close. Hah.

A quick glance after he stopped the bike proved the place to be safe enough to keep going. Knowing there could be any kind of monster lurking out there, he came more than prepared to keep an eye on the surroundings. In fact, that was the plan: look around and pay attention for anything hiding and/or stalking him, and avoid it. With his vision, it shouldn't be that hard.

He heard Fukawa say something, but he didn't quite register it, save for the last comment. "Well, if it makes you feel better", he said, addressing that last comment. "I didn't choose this place for you. I have package a to deliver, so that's where I'm going. I won't mind taking you anywhere you want though, or even you coming along; whatever you chose" It's not like he was in a hurry; his boss already expected him to fail. "And speaking of the package..."

He took out his phone to check out his destination one last time. That town on the distance should be Darkshire; the guy he was looking for lived in a cabin past from it, near a lake far away from the road, in the middle of the forest. He'll have to walk that last stretch, but he was ok with it.

He showed the girl the map he had on his phone."This is that town on the horizon–", he said, pointing out a little spot on the map "–and here's where I'm going", now pointing a red triangle. From what he heard, that place was particularly filled with monsters, but he already told her that, so no need to repeat himself. "So, what do you say?"

Please say no. Please say no. Please say no...
