80 miles an hour was a frighteningly high speed for such a vehicle.

God knew Fukawa probably needed some sort of... seat belt. Helmet. Anything. She was convinced she would be thrown from this scooter and killed instantly any second now. But for some reason the threat of death felt so near and, well, not exactly dear, but ingrained in her psyche, to her she really... had trouble caring. Not that she didn't understand the concept of death, but rather that she understood it so well it had lost some impact.

...She wasn't sure that was a good thing.

But even though she had closed her eyes tightly for the ride, she could certainly feel when the scooter crossed over into the Moors. The impact of tires against now hardly-paved road compared to the entirely flat ground of the Nexus hit her like a swift punch in the chest. Well, more dull than a punch- rather, more like being caught in an explosion, which she hated to admit having enough experience with for the comparison. Thankfully, as she wobbled somewhat, trying to regain her balance, the driver of the vehicle slowed down- bringing the vehicle to a stop at the side of the road.

"We're here." Stated the young man she was travelling with, taking just a quick glance(? it was debatable if it could be called that, with his eyes closed) back at his passenger.

"...Y-you don't say..." Fukawa was grumbling mostly to herself, though she opened her eyes to investigate the world around her now. Yeah, it certainly was different- overcast and dull, with rolling hills mostly devoid of human interference. It... Honestly didn't look like anywhere she could place. But at least it looked real, right? That was some improvement from whatever big white building they were in before.

Once again the only evidence of human life seemed to be on the horizon- what may have been some sort of town or at least settlement in the distance. It didn't exactly seem like any sort of sprawling city or anything, certainly not the most modern place, but... Once again, she told herself, it was better than nothing. It was always better than nothing. At least if there were people there she may not, y'know, starve to death.

Not that she was too worried about that- it took longer than one would think.

"Hmph... Not... Sure what I expected..." Fukawa bit her thumb again, glancing at the semi-paved ground below. Yeah, this was about as shitty as she should have been expecting. There was no reason to be optimistic with the description she was given before. "I... I guess I don't blame you for choosing such a gloomy place f-for... someone like me..." Again, this last part was loud enough Leo could hear it, but seemingly not directed at him- more just directed at the situation in general.

Fukawa seemed to talk to herself a lot.

just went ahead and had leo have one (1) completely nondescript line to speed things along, hopefully that's alright
