Every single verse probably has a bunch of names, and the ones listed on the forum index are in no way 'official' IC (other than Camelot and Coruscant). They're just good descriptors. I suspect people say "The Desert" just as much as "The Dunes" or "The Ocean" just as much as "The Deeps".
