Omniverse IC Slang - Kopaka - 01-16-2018 Just compiling different idioms and shorthands I've had people say over the years. Figure it might come in handy for establishing a wider common vernacular for native dialogue in the 'Verse. People should feel free to list their own. Babby or Primeling: A very new and inexperienced Prime. Usually has only visited one or two Verses and are still getting their bearings. Nilium, Goo, Shiny-Shiny: Omnilium, when referred to as a metaphysical substance. Nil, Omnibucks, OM: Omnilium, when referred to as a currency. Baking, Weaving: The act of summoning. Seckie, Dreg: Secondary Sire: A Prime who is identifiably responsible for the conscious creation of a corresponding secondary. 'Go Under': An eponymous and flippantĀ dismissal, similar to 'Go to Hell'. Palpatown: Tier 1 of Coruscant. Clipped, Ghosted: A circumstance where Prime abruptly vanishes under vague circumstances. RE: Omniverse IC Slang - Carmelita - 01-16-2018 Tertiary: native-born, offspring of actions or people already existing in the Omniverse RE: Omniverse IC Slang - Handsome Jack - 01-16-2018 On the topic of tertiary, be aware that anyone "born" in the Omniverse would only be 13, at the oldest. As per the official timeline. RE: Omniverse IC Slang - Omni - 01-16-2018 Rainbow, Shinies: more terms for OM. Every single verse probably has a bunch of names, and the ones listed on the forum index are in no way 'official' IC (other than Camelot and Coruscant). They're just good descriptors. I suspect people say "The Desert" just as much as "The Dunes" or "The Ocean" just as much as "The Deeps". |
