1. Resident Evil Remake - Same reasons as Alex, plus it's just so masterfully done, imo.
2. Resident Evil 4 - Same reasons as Greg.
3. Okami - Others have mentioned this game, but it's crazy pretty and has a wonderful story. It's just been re-released for the PS4, too...
4. Assassins Creed Brotherhood - Multiplayer mode = best. Plague doctors, heck yes.
5. Assassins Creed Unity - This game pissed me off in some aspects, but it was pretty enjoyable for different reasons.
6. Super Smash Bros Brawl - This game is so fun with friends and even just going solo in story mode!
7. Pokémon Diamond - Juuuust different enough from the earlier Pokémon games to be subtly appealing. There are some subtle things that really make this game something I think about from time to time even now.
8. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team - Adorable. Challenging. Made my twelve year old self cry. This game is so sad and beautiful.
9. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Like the last one, but an expanded amount of Pokémon and very appealing in terms of the quests and characters.
10. Animal Crossing: Wild World - I spent hours and hours playing this with my sisters on long car rides or just at home. Idk... It might not match up to the graphics of today, but it's super fun and cute.
11. Pokémon Ruby - The first DS game I ever played after my GBA. I loved it. I'm gonna make sure my children play this.
Honorable mentions: The Sims (2, 3, dunno about 4), Pirates of the Carribean Online (before it closed), Earth Eternal, Nintendogs... I can't think of any others atm.
