Gaster chuckled a bit afterwards. Of course, Undyne threatened his life before her departure, but to be honest, he sort of has grown numb to the concept of actually being injured. After all, would anyone stab at his body knowing that what they did would be a grave mistake? His body, well, look at him: just goopy in nature yet strangely stable; a hybrid of a former Void entity and a skeleton monster.

He just seems to take the situation as it is and try to roll with it. Much like his remark of a joke that he pulled off earlier that cause the majority of people to feel very uncomfortable and in fear of him. Ah that dark humor, it never fails, however, it wasn't long before he stopped and looked to Alphys after finishing a bite of his vanilla icecream.

"If I may ask, what tree is Undyne speaking of, Alphys?" he asked curiously with his tone more down to earth. "I am still catching up with things and I would like to know what is going on around here."

Though, if anything, any information would help after all and he's not a fan of being in the dark about it either. It's almost if he was looking at Alphys with an expectant answer from the smaller monster while not paying much attention to Moogie nor Sans in general. The attention was all on her.
