[All Might]

Attention to all denizens of the Omniverse,

I write this letter in response to the recent events regarding Syntech. I am gravely concerned. The Omniverse, for all of its vastness and variety, did not have an organized response to an emergency such as this. Rather, Syntech Corporation needed to gather various adventurers haphazardly and irresponsibly, and in the end, the team crashed on the island and disintegrated. There was no sense of unity, of cooperation. Every fighter was out for themselves.

In the world from which I herald, to prevent disasters such as this latest disaster, a group of individuals with exceptional abilities was assembled. These “Avengers”, while heroes of their own right, formally agreed to unite under one name to stop greater dangers to our world. Together, we Avengers stopped several apocalyptic events, and even waged wars throughout the cosmos.

I have studied the Omniverse’s history. Time and time again, it has been attacked by forces which caused great chaos and greater loss of life. Leaders of organizations intending to oppress or harm innocent lives are gathering their armies. Creatures of enormous power are rising up against the general populace. And my analysis shows that the people have nobody to hope for.

I believe that the Omniverse needs Avengers.

I hereby announce the beginning of our own Avengers Initiative. We are an independent organization that aims to quickly and efficiently respond to large-scale disasters, as well as lending a hand for the smaller ones. This organization consists of those who are compassionate with those terrified of their future. We assemble to protect the Omniverse.

I have attached my Communicator ID at the bottom of this letter. If you are interested in joining the Avengers, you may contact me. We are based in the Vasty Deep, near Costa del Sol.

-The Vision

All Might read the invitation, and stood up, filled with renewed energy. "I definitely came to the right place! Thank you, Panda, for digging this up."

"No problem." answered the younger man from the other end of the line. "You planning on calling him?"

"...Perhaps." All Might said, "I think I'm going to have a look around, and see what needs doing. If possible, I want to rest off this post-death weakness. I want to be in top form when recruiting other heroes, after all." 

"I'd say it's a good call." Krid agreed through the Communicator. 

"I'll speak to you both later, then. Keep up the good work."

"Got it. We will, Might."

"...Call me All Might." All Might said, "I think I'm finally ready to embrace my full name. If I'm going to be joining some other real superheroes, I'll be going at my best!"

"Uh... So does that mean we need to change the cards we've been handing out?"

"Hrmm... I haven't thought of that. Ah well! I'll leave it you!" All Might said, before hanging up on their protests.

First things first!


"Well Mister-"

"All Might!"

"Mister Might. Or... You're Japanese, right? Mister... All?"

"All Might. Just call me All Might."

"I prefer to keep a professional air around my patients Mister...."

The superhero sighed, he supposed it didn't matter in this world. "Yagi. Mister Yagi."

"Thank you. You seem to be in excellent shape Mister Yagi. Healthy by all accounts. I'd be worried about what kind of stress you put your body through- but, well, you're a Prime. Which brings me to what I think the main source of your ailment is. We call it resurrection sickness. You're weakened in nearly all accounts, and your general vitality is only about half of what it would be normally. It does wear off fairly quickly though. In fact, in your case, I'd give you about a day of rest, and you'll be in top shape again."

"That's... good news." All Might said thoughtfully, "I'm glad I won't be down for too long. Are there any other effects- memory loss, among other things?"

"It's a common side effect, but I'm afraid it's a bit more variable. Some Primes, they keep nearly everything the moment they come back. Other Primes, they can't remember some things, and never really get it back. In most cases, the lost memories will literally be back before you realize. I reccomend to put it out of mind. Thinking about it seems to make it worse- but none of it is quantified. It may simply vary depending on the individual, or the whims of Omni, if you believe that sort of thing."

"Hm."

"Well, Mister Yagi, it's in my medical opinion that you'll be... back in fighting shape after a good day and a night's worth of rest. It was a pleasure working with you."

"And you miss." All Might said politely, before leaving the nurse's tent on the shore. 

A day off... wouldn't hurt him. If he happened to come across something, he wouldn't hesitate to fight, but for now... 

He found a changing tent on the beach, and jumped inside. The tiny thing was barely able to contain his massive body, but it would have to do! He had said he wanted to make a good impression, and so he would be sure to put his costume back on tomorrow, when he would go searching for the Avengers.

But for today... a skintight uniform was no outfit for the beach! 

Well, technically, it could be. But one didn't wear their work uniform while resting on the beachside. No! Only a swimsuit would do!

Fight hard! Work hard! Play hard! Rest hard! That was his motto! Plus Ultra! 

He summoned a water bottle, for [proper hydration, and changed his outfit into his preferred swimming onesie. 

Time to hit the beach!
