Eda-chan's arrival at the Tangled Green

[Andyra]

Andyra was having quite a bit of fun with just mass murdering a bunch of random skeletons, it reminded her of the good ole days when she traveled around and found enemies like these with her friends. She was making new friends she thought, though still in the back of her mind she wanted to find a way out of this damn place, even if it was practically impossible, though she herself just didnt' know when to quit. She smirked a grin towards Amber as she came dashing in towards the one in black armor, using the momentum of her own body to basically hit the skeleton's armor with all her strength currently, making a crack in the armor and splitting it in two. She just smirked a confident grin.
"Eda finish it!" smiled Anydra with pride as she crackled her knuckles.

[Eda]

She did exactly what was asked of her , a trio of fireballs hurled at the skeleton that clearly lead the group . Three confirmed hits too , however it seemed to shrug them off . The armor it wore was damaged badly though , as it made its counter move on her . She had been too close this time , she took a hit that should have by all logic run her through . However it seemed like this place's rules merely had it knock her a bit loopy , it was something for Ebony and the others to make note of . The swing should have cut her in half as if she was made of paper , however it had only knocked her a few feet back and into a rock behind her . Making her bounce like she was a superball , while fun to watch that had to hurt . She was somehow still standing but very clearly in rough shape , her hands together and sparking a bit . Making a run right for the opponent in question , having one thing in mind . She had enough in her for one more attack , and she planned to use it . Narrowly ducking another strike her hands moved right in front of its eyeless , featureless , decrepit face , one more fireball hitting it point blank . However it seemed to simply laugh at her , the attack had done more of nothing to it . 

She was too close to dodge the next hit too , try as she might she was sent careening by a swat of its hand . Her landing was hardly pretty either , hitting the ground rather hard . Something seemed wrong even to the others , that last attack should have sent it right back where it came from regardless of what it was . It made its way now to where the magical girl was laying , she was trying to pull herself to her feet though .

" I don't get it , I hit it with everything I had . Also I should be dead or unconscious , this is bizarre " 

[Ebony]

"This is a Death Knight, Eda, a being brought back to life by a powerful demon usually, though seeing as this one is a skeleton only, for what he is, he is at least a low level one, though that will not be much comfort for you", Ebony said as she moved to intercept the death knight. "Usually, these are beings with a lot of defense and attack, as well as the ability to cast magic. We have not seen him do it yet, but do not be taken off guard, as he certainly can do so". Ebony exchanged a few strikes with the death knight, though it was obvious that he was physically stronger.

Ebony got pushed back as she fought him, however, she had achieved her goal, getting his attention long enough to allow Eda to get up. Just as she did though, Ebony was struck by the death knight's sword, sending her flying into a tree. She struggled back to her feet, though it was obvious that between the tree and Ebony's back, the tree had obviously won the exchange.

[Amber Veritz]

Amber scratched her head confused. "Magic? What's magic?" Andyra looked at Amber for a second like she was from a different planet. "How do you not know what magic is?" Amber gave her a look back, swinging at a skeleton without looking. "People come from different worlds with different lores and stories and myths. We don't believe everything you do." Andyra replied, "well, magic is basically being able to control the elements by will, like Eda." Amber kind of laughed to that. "Ohhhh! It's like using Dust!" Andyra looked confused this time, "Dust?"

"Exactly!" Amber yelled as she took off towards the giant skeleton again. "It's armor is in two pieces, let's make it twenty!" She screamed, clanging her sword against the armor again. The plating cracked against Razorback's steel. Breaking apart even more. The armor dangled around the joints of the bones. "Haha! Too easy!" She said as she ducked under it's giant sword.

[Andyra]

Andyra quickly realized that dust was her own way of saying magic basically.
"Got it." replied Andyra calmly as she went in at the towards the Death Knight and she actually took a bit of inspiration from the odd enemy before and uprooted a well grown oak tree from it's roots in the ground and went to smash the death knight with said tree, obviously the knight probably wouldn't see such a move coming, and this would give both Eda and Ebony time to recover while she and Amber took care of the problem as the tree hit the death knight with a loud "clunk" like sound, making it stumble a bit in it's steps, but obviously not killing it for how strong it was.

[Eda]

Eda had officially had enough of this thing and being absurdly strong , letting out a breath she had not known she was holding . Something in her eyes telling everyone else to move , sparks cracking around her entire being . This amount of power coursing through her was inhuman , her hair flaring out behind her . The ground quaking beneath her feet , her fingers twitching . It was clear she had something in mind when she rushed it again , electricity cracking around her . Her speed making her look like a blur to the untrained eye , her voice serious . 

" I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU ... LOVE LOVE " 

She ducked a swipe of its blade her hands planted to its chest now , the amount of energy she had built up all pouring out into one gigantic blast in front of her , the aura of it seeming to consume the both of them . 

" MAGIC CANNON "

The explosion from it sending her kiting through the air , however the death knight was nowhere to be seen from the blast . She landed rather rudely , the look on her still open eyes showing few signs of life . Perhaps stupid of her to knock herself out with her own attack , however it seemed she had won with it . 

[Ebony]

Ebony sighed, walking over to Eda with a bit of a pained look on her face, seeing as she had broken a few bones when she had hit the tree, and despite what she tended to say to freak people out, she did not enjoy pain, other than when in the bedroom of course, which this was certainly not. She looked at Amber after picking Eda up, wincing as she did so, ,due to the broken ribs, but now seeing as she was injured, and Eda unconscious, she did not see the sense in making only one of them combat efficient.

"We really, really need to find somewhere to rest, as I am injured and Eda here is down and out at the moment. If you have a map of this area, Amber, it would be good to find a town or a safe place where we can rest and recuperate, instead of going from fight to fight to fight here. At this rate, we will all likely end up back at the Nexus, like Amber did. Eda seems to be at the point where another hit would trigger a re-spawn from her, and I have several broken ribs. Ultimately, only you and Andyra can defend us if something, or someone else attacks us".

[Amber Veritz]

Amber pulled out her scroll, looking at the map again. She swiped around, looking carefully at the map, as to not miss any details. When the patches of green leaves dispersed on the picture of her scroll, she knew she'd found it. Amber saw a big settlement of wooden houses not too far north of their position. She quickly called Murasaki to see if he had any info. "Hey 'Saki. I need info on an area, can you help me?"

"Describe the area." A males voice said through the phone. Slight clicking sounds could be heard as well, as he typed on the computer at Fort Amber.

"Gaint forest, huge trees and what not. Very nature-y." Amber said in response.

"You're in the Tangled Green, I've found your location. Just north of you should be a village called Mokugakure, I think it's pronounced. It's supposed to be a home of ninjas, unknown if their hostile or not. Much more southwest is a place known as Ys-." He paused a moment. "Yggdrasil? It's a home to the elves in the area. Nothing more on them though."

Amber smiled, glad that 'Saki was doing well on getting information in the verses. "That'll do 'Saki, thanks." She hung up and pointed north. "Ninjas," then pointed southwest, "elves, whatever they are. Take your pick. The ninjas are closer from the looks of it, so that might be our best bet."

[Andyra]

Andyra could only sigh seeing Eda unconsious in Ebony's arms, she should really learn to conserve her energy more. The four of them were stuck together so that meant they were a team and there was no I in team. Andyra listened closely to the conservation via the phone of Amber's and knew that even if they were close waling would take them a bit with an injured member of the party so she focused all her thoughts of her lion form, wanting to transform so desparetly to be able to aid them. However it seemed to do absolutely nothing so instead she tried to summon a horse and carriage, at the very least that would aid them to get there more swiftly in the party's current condition, it strained her energy to do but she was able to do it as it appeared in front of them.

[Eda]

After a short time of being carried Eda stirred again , her voice low though . Letting Ebony know she was still alive at least , she was clearly meant to be here . The level of resilience she had just confirmed that more and more , she eventually insisted on being let down . Even apologizing for being a burden for so long , then again not one of them knew how long they had been walking . Almost an entire day had passed before she even registered being conscious again , however once she was on her feet again she seemed just fine . It was like the whole ordeal never even happened . Either she was made out of anime levels of nonsense , or this world granted her incredible natrual healing . She was not sure , but was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either .

[Ebony]

Ebony still walked gingerly, holding her ribs, even after Eda got down, as the blow she had taken had been enough to hurt her rather seriously, though she was saying nothing. She could feel a rib poking her lung, but refused to let it bother her, in fact, she would fight if she had to, though it would likely kill her. She looked at Amber, a grin on her face.

"I agree that we should go to the ninjas if they are closer, ,for one thing, the elves you mentioned would probably not bee to enthusiastic to meet me, after all, while I am an elf, I am a Drow Elf, one who most elves would consider a fallen one", she said with a smile. "Our Goddess, Lolth, ,many many eons ago, tried to seduce and supplant the God of the Elves, Corellon. She almost succeeded, though the gods and goddesses of the elves defeated her, cursing her to the form of half-spider, half elf, or what is called a drider, and casting her into the Abyss. She started the Drow there, with the ones who had followed her in her attempted rebellion. As such, the normal elves, the ones who worship Corellon, do not like the Drow at all, hence why I say perhaps the ninja are a better choice of places to shelter in".

[Amber Veritz]

Amber looked confused again. "Oh, you're an elf?" She scratched her head. "I didn't know elves looked so humanistic. It's odd that you look so much like a human. Well, I guess not too odd considering I'm pretty close to a humanoid being when really I'm more animal than I am human." Amber tiptoed carefully, trying not to piss her off with a stupid comment that would upset Ebony. As Andyra summon the carriage, she helped Ebony and Eda in the back and sat on of the roof. "I'll keep an eye out for anything, you guys get some rest." She yelled down through the fabric of the roof of the carriage. This was certainly ideal to walking.

[Andyra]

Andyra would help Amber in getting Eda and Ebony into the carriage. Afterwards she went to the front of the carriage and went to hop onto the front part to steer the horse forward in the direction of the ninjas. Andyra didn't really know that much about ninjas themselves but if they were anything like what she expected, likely it wouldn't exactly be as easy as they thought to get in but time would tell. Andyra offered a hand out towards Amber, offering her to sit up with her in the front of sitting in the carriage with Eda and Ebony, it was her choice.

[Eda]

She shifted slightly in her seat , every inch of her body hurt at the moment . It felt as if every bone in her body had been broken , her voice soft when it escaped her lips . Letting out tiny little breaths , holding onto whatever she could on the inside of the carriage .

" Where are we , I didn't die did i ? It would totally suck if I went through all of this just to end up dying . Ehh Ebony you are here too ? , you didn't die did you ? " 

[Ebony]

"No, it obviously hurts too fucking bad for us to have died, dumbass", Ebony said, still holding her ribs. "If we were dead, we would not be in a carriage, going over bumps that hurt like a son-of-a-bitch, hearing Amber and Andyra talk, now would we", ,she said, her temper obviously a bit the worse for wear due to the broken ribs. "Do you have any other stupid questions, little human girl"? She shook her head, still muttering about the stupidity of some people she was forced to work with.

[Amber Veritz]

Amber spipped down into the front seat of the carriage next to Andyra. She smirked at her thinking about what it must be like to be in tune with such a ferocious beast as a lion. "A lion hunh?" She said to her in tone that hinted respect. "I'm nothing as powerful as that, but all the same am a feline. I hail from a species called a panther. I don't know if you have species of cats like that but their majestic. I lived around a few as a kid. I learned how to be as ferocious as them." She kept an eye on the trees being careful of any other stalkers while she talked. "Were you born with your gift?"

[Andyra]

"Yes, I was born like this, only half lion though, my other sides are human and dragon, though I honestly don't rely on my dragon side hardly at all. I much preferred my lion form back when I was traveling with my old group of friends. We have panthers in our world, we have all sorts of odd creatures, my father once had a Unuiki that worked for him and those things are rather odd to say the least with all their traditions and such. We all are what we are though, you can't change that, however you can change how people see you. I myself was once a scared little girl afraid of dying out on the streets, alone and cold, now I'm a lot more mature with my actions, and I have confidence that I'll never cry again." replied Andyra. "What about you Amber? Tell me more about the world you came from, I'm sure it's full of interesting creatures and the likes."

[Eda]

Eda could hear the other two talking about their linage , she was nothing of the sort . She had been an ordinary human girl , with nothing special about her . She had no powers or abilities , this world had granted her such gifts . Giving her the power to become a hero , to become an agent of justice . She very much liked being given such a chance , while she heard many curse Omni's name she was not that way . Her hand moving along the inside of the carriage , feeling the silk inlays . The velvet of the seats , hearing the horses pulling it made little noises on occasion . She slowly sat upright , her hands clenching to pull herself up . Exhaustion soon gave way to excitement , seeing a village in the distance .

" We are almost there , just a little while longer . we can both get patched up then ''

It hit her just then like a sack of bricks , her head lowered for a moment . Her voice and tone dropping now , conveying her thanks to the woman next to her .

" You could have put an end to me , or done worse to me while I was out . I suppose I owe you one now don't I , then how about I make it up to you . If you are in danger I will make sure to save you next time for sure " 

She fist pumped the air looking over at the drow woman beside her with a cheery smile , getting a feeling that this was only the beginning of a magnificent adventure . The village of ninjas drawing closer and closer with each passing moment , wondering what adventures lay in wait for the four of them .

[Ebony]

"Ehh, it would have been too much of a pain to let you die there and have to go back and fetch you from the Nexus", Ebony said with a grumble. 'That, and I didn't want some sorry excuse for a Death Knight taking my pet and doing naughty things with her anyway. After all, that is my job, and one I take seriously", she said, ,yanking Eda's chain a bit.

Having rested for a bit, she did feel a lot better though, and moved out of the carriage as well, hopping out and onto the roof of the carriage, where Amber had been before. She listened to the others talking, again thinking back a bit, and how she was really missing her people she usually traveled with. She sat and brooded, seeing the ninja village fast approaching as they sat in the carriage and waited to arrive.

[Amber Veritz]

Amber gazed at the ninja village in the distance. It was a bit bigger than she'd expected, but it didn't matter. It was a good thing they found some kind of settlement at all. When Andyra asked about her world, Amber's face showed mixed emotions. She missed her home, but was glad to meet new people and see new worlds. "Well, I hail from a land called Remnant. There humans and faunus, like me, fight against these horrible soulless beasts we call Grimm. They feed off our despair and sorrow and kill many travelers. I'm from Atlas, a snow provenance in the northern lands. Lived in poverty like most faunus, we were outcasts to humans who treated us as underlings for the longest period of time. Even now, in an age where we're treated more fairly, it's still rough for faunus because of racism. I can't remember how many times I got beaten by angry shopkeeps and such. We have special fighters that fight these Grimm for us though, and I was one of them." She paused for a moment of pride, the she grinned embarassingly, "well, I was a Huntress-in-training. I wanted to show the world that faunus mean something in our world. I thought if I became a great huntress, humans would treat us with more respect. Although, I've been gone for so long now. Who knows how Remnant fairs right now." As Amber finished her mini-lecture of her home world, the carriage arrived at the gates of the city. "Here we are, 'Saki is a good info gatherer. Glad I put him up to that task."
