Also, I feel I must reiterate that there is a HARD difference between Faction Influence and Recognition.

If the Empire likes you, this does not automatically mean you're also Recognized in Coruscant.

If the Ninja Village likes you, this does not automatically mean you're Recognized in the Green.

There is a difference between a faction and the verse they reside in. Please keep that in mind.

Well, I was thinking about something. Retane used to have an alias back in the Chubbs days. He was known as the 'Dark Hunter' He did it when he was on merc missions and such. He wore a black mask to hide his identity and so on.

I thought about bringing the idea back.

If Retane did things as 'Dark Hunter' so he wouldn't get recognized. would those writings still influence his 'recognition' or no?

Yes. Recognition is a largely OOC mechanic that you are free to role play how you want.

That being said, you can always choose to not request the bonus if you don't want it.

Oh, I want the Recognition. I actually want the 'Faction Recognition' so all my members can get the bonus. But I will take either... because I have a lot of progression I need to do and a lot of catching up to do as well.
