Basically a space 'verse. No planets, just small moons and space stations. Need a place to put them space battles, natch.
This is actually a good way of doing it, I think.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Maybe for more fantasy based characters we could have like space pegasi and Orbble Juice.

I'd prefer the verse to be set around a pair of dying stars and ruined/shattered planets. Then add in moons and space stations.

As far as things go, A space verse is all we should really consider adding. Other Ideas for verses could just be expansions of areas in already existent verses.

I dunno, I thought the underground verse that was suggested would also be cool. That and the space verse could play off of one another, but accessing them woulf have to be balanced out.
Getting into the space verse might be difficult, but if you can access it from any verse by just going up, then hypothetically it would also function as a Nexus+Spaceships, which would likely be bad news for Camelot.
Same goes for the underground verse. Unless having an 'upper' and 'lower' Nexus would fly? Maybe Camelot could have a powerful presence underground to counter the Empire's obvious space superiority.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I

Actually, The gates to the sapceverse could be on space stations or maybe even astral bodies that have an atmosphere (artificial or not) you could work it Borderlands pre-sequel style in that regard.
As for the underground verse, is it something like a dwarf thing? if so then you could work it into muliple verses with underground cities and caverns and what not.

Yeah, I think you could easily play out the underground idea in the Frozen Fields. No need to add anything extra.

Maybe a Noirverse based off of the Marvel Comics Noir timeline would work. The whole thing would be in black and white(including the people who enter) and would be based off of that time's San Fransisco.
There can be some alliance work with the Freakshow(The Goblin, Hammerhead, Vulture), which the Goblin would be running the show. When aligned with the Freakshow, you can't align towards the Empire OR the Kingdom, nor would you be able to join the Cinnabar Islanders and Mewtwo.

I have a custom space verse I could create based on the ideas from a novel I was planning to write.

How about a space verse where you can buy your own custom planet/moon? Almost like a space base?
Odd hours. Call for appointment.

That's why having a space verse that consists mainly of dying and shattered planets in a binary star system that is full of moons is probably the best route.

Remember that Space Verse we wanted? Well I found my old space book ideas from about 4 years ago and cleaned them up. I came up with these straight from my head based on Sci Fi ideas.
Planets:
Exstor
Vari
Tether -- Accelerated Particle Transportation Line. Main method of transportation in the universe. Speed frame of reference is x10 SpOL (Speed of Light). THE BEAMS CANNOT BE SHUT OFF VOLUNTARILY. You would need to produce enough energy to not only take out a Tether Junction's shields and structure, but also disrupt the particle beam.
Tether Junction -- Every fifty light years worth of distance the tether travelers are expelled into a waiting area. The gathered energy resulted from traveling the line is expelled and used to power the stations facilities; as well as recharge ship reactors, tools, and system defenses.
Gravity Well Travel - Ship/Station creates artificial gravity rope with gravity of desired location. Amplifying the connection a pull is created and the ship/station is pulled toward its' destination. Used for solar system travel. Speed frame of reference is x5 SpOL.
Planet Exstor -- Once a whole planet Exstor now lies in four sections. The core of the planet maintains the gravitational pull, but is completely exposed. The remainder of the planet orbits around the core as it spins on its own axis. The climates of each section are as follows; Arctic, Tropical, Temperate, Desert.
Planet Vari -- A planet located two solar systems away from Exstor orbiting a dying star. Due to its highly advanced technology the planet has become a mechanical entity. Moving the planet further away from their dying sun as it expands into a Red Giant, the people of Vari can continue to thrive and grow.
Extorites: A member of the Exstor species. A species based on pure genetic copying. An Extorite has no true form, instead they take the appearance of any race they come into contact with. The most common choice is that of a human. A race located inside of a distant galaxy.
Varians: The species that resides on Planet Vari. A race of golem like humanoids that infuse themselves with the molten metal of their home planet. Despite their brute appearance they are a race of extreme intellect. Although being volcanic in nature even Varians can't survive the increasing temperature due to their expanding red giant sun.
Mini Tether -- Miniature versions of the full scale Tether designed for public transport between sections of the planet Exstor. Operating at a much slower speed, it takes a couple of seconds to go from section to section.
Variable Technologies -- The Company formed at the start of the first space war to design and advance the technology of its armies. They privately own and operate the planet Vari. (Pronounced like VARE-EE).
Galactic Fact: Space flight was first discovered on Exstor due to the need to traverse the different sections of their planet. The race is divided into four breeds, each coming with certain genetic traits of their location, though they all copy another life form genetically. (An Extorite from the Arctic Sector can withstand extreme cold, etc.) Space Travel originated from the Desert Sector and was followed by Temperate. Those two shared it with the other sectors and the planet was united as one under a constitutional monarchy. There are no true form Extorites in the world anymore. The entire species consists of a potluck of races that they were in contact with during The First Space War. It is unknown what an unaltered Extorite looks like.
Ruthik Steel – A metal discovered by Exstor miners during the first space war. A way to forge asteroid ore into a metal stronger than the titanium of the distant Sol III. Resistant to temperatures exceeding 5000 degrees F.
Armed Transportation Sentries or ATS - An acronym created by Exstor for its Mini Tether security force; during the first space war it was branded onto its military. During the second space war it became a galactic wide term for military forces. The ATS breaks down into three categories - Assault, Repair, and Defense.
Gravity Hook: The device used to pinpoint and create a gravitational link so Grav-Travel can occur. Technical Details: The claw like hook spins clockwise to establish connection. Arms remain stationary. Upon connection the device spins counterclockwise and the arms fan out into a propeller like shape.
Tether Squad: Sixty highly trained men and sometimes women with Tether Jump Gear. This group of soldiers specialize in Tether Combat and Defense. They are the key offense and defense inside and around tether lines. The entire premise behind the Tether Squad is to ride the Tether Lines to either patrol, defend, capture or sabotage them. As of right now there is no reported technology capable of taking out a Tether without destroying the junction.
First Space War: A fight for control of Galactic Territory. Revolving around the Valdric Varian colony in the Joul Solar System between Exstor and Vari, the Varian and Exorite militaries fought for control of the harvestable asteroids and planets inside Joul. Occurred some 400 years after the first manned space flight off of Exstor. Some say Variable Technologies were jealous of the Exstor people and used the resource based war as an excuse to assert their technological prowess.
Galactic Note: Each different Tether Squad belonging to a different species will have advantages and disadvantages. The branch name is uniform like ATS is. It was one the first galactic wide decisions when the first Tether's were brought online.
Old Tether Routes: Outdated and significantly smaller tether lines that have long since been abandoned by the public for the new faster ones. Location is top secret and functionality is unknown to those outside of top level government positions. OOC: They are functioning, but operate at a slower speed and mainly used by criminals organizations.

Holy shit that's complicated, man. I sorta figure it's gonna be like the other verses and just be kinda vague so people can full in the gaps with story

Lol I guess when you come up with it in your head you don't see it as complicated. I wish I had fleshed out a lot more of the technology.

Having two whole planets also makes it thousands of times larger than an average verse, too.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I

It's space. It's the final frontier.

In all seriousness, I agree with Sinestro, maybe a little more open-ended than that. But I really like some of those ideas and you should totally finish this book.

Lol alright. I didn't say it had to be exactly what I put. It was just a base to start from. I do like the idea of a dying binary star system with broken and shattered planets where the actual places you go are space stations and moons.

I think that introducing planets that can have biomes other than open space overlaps with the other verses too much. Barren moons that only emphasize the fact that you're in space are cool, because, you know, they're in space and they're no real atmosphere or anything. Space stations are obviously cool because space stations. If the planets are totally uninhabitable, that might be ok too, like if one was a gas giant or something?

In my time in Vastly, I had considered making an island that was labyrinth-based (no escape and not technologically inclined either) but I didn't like the idea of it being in Vastly. I could think that a (deathly) planet to be stranded on with a similar theme might be cool. Just brainstorming though.
