Would a Healing Super Move still work without Regeneration?

No Healing unless you get a Support Item that heals.

Would we be able to buffer actions other than alliances and super moves before face-to-faces? e.g. "If Erza runs into anyone, she will attempt to make a trade for x rather than fight. If a fight breaks out, buffer x power up."

'Buffer' is a word that confuses me in this use.

To trade, you and the other party would have to meet up in the same square (let me know ahead of time) and then both tell me you're trading (you don't have to write this IC if you want to, y'know, leave the public in the dark -- that's part of the strategy).

Anytime two characters land in the same square, a Face to Face will occur, unless they tell me they're allying. This doesn't mean they'll go at each others throats and immediately engage in Mortal Kombat, however. Accidents do happen.

You won't need the proficiencies. Can you make it a subplot where your character struggles to figure out what the hell to do with that what they get? Of course.

I was actually trying to find applicable examples, but it doesn't seem like I can find anyone who actually has an alt form that isn't a Powered Up Form.

Try Udyr. He has two. From the rules I've read though, in Tiger Stance, he wouldn't be able to use his Claws Move.

I'm dying to know but this may be handled on sign up, would Yogsothoth get disabled? Yog is an extension of Desco's body, physically separate yet dealing damage to it is no different than harm her arms or legs. He is a natural weapon that can be dematerialized and rematerialized at will

80% of the time, killing someone gives you their weapon.

The only times it wouldn't would be if their weapon was destroyed in the fight (I say this because while this probably won't happen often, it might once or twice)

In response to your Yog question -- We'll work something out closer to launch. Chances are, Desco'll be able to have it (it's an it, right?) in a neutered capacity (so no stabbing tentacle blades). That way, you'd retain access to your super move during F2F. Super Move use aside, she would be able to have it there for... moral support, as whether or not it's there wouldn't provide you with any sort of advantage.

You could also opt to have it only for the Super Move (so it'd pop up for that) but otherwise be disconnected, if that's a storyline you'd like to experiment with while on the island.

No buying things while on the island. Your prime is isolated and unable to summon, so it wouldn't make sense.

I'mma think more about leveling up, though.

Chances are it'll mean nothing and won't affect your SP on the island (#dantephysics), if only because I could see people putting off some writing so they could cross the OM level threshold during the contest and get extra SP.

Super move yes (#dantephysics), normal stuff, no. And you super move sword would vanish after the F2F/SP expenditure (again, #dantephysics).
