I was reading the archives for completely unrelated reasons and realized I'd been asked about Ash's motivations and goals so to clarify:

Um.. I'm obviously not ready for this fight. I thought it would be more realiatic if I baited Brother Gaius to trip my trap.

Ash is trying to goad the Marine into killing her. Hopefully they're both too damaged for him to banish her in time.

Harlan is waiting until the Iso Verse drops to see what the outcome is before acting, but no matter what the outcome, he's going to play "legitimate businessman". Probably schmoozing up to the troopers and passing out casino vouchers while the Marine does his business.

I am bumping this in case the Storyteller or Staff has not seen Higgs' comment about waiting for the result of the fight to post. (Just in case you were waiting on him.) It did get buried pretty fast when he did post.
