Think about it, why can your changeling steal emotions other than love? I've given several ideas on how he came to be this way in my previous posts.

How did he meet and befriend Matilda?

Where did he live? Is he an outcast from the swarm?

1. can't they all steal strong emotions? that's the only possible way they can be comfortable with terrorizing a city.

Okay, idea, I'm not gonna use sawtooth, but I have an idea for a history, he got hit by the living gattlin gun that is Twilight sparkle and zapped into the Omniverse. is this acceptable for a history?

1. Every source I've seen only refers to them stealing love, and they can still steal love from captives, as demonstrated here. I mean being captive doesn't stop someone from having love, it's just not directed at their captors.

2. According to a tweet from one of the writers, the Changeling was Matilda's friend and is even sitting on Matilda's side of wedding. However, it's ridiculously hard to find this damn tweet. Wasted way too time trying to dig it up. x.x

3. Well, if we disregard the second point, then yeah, he could have. But then again, I'm only asking questions to help you come up with a history for your character. xD

As long as you go through the standard introduction still, I guess that's okay.

That'll explain how he got to the Omniverse. Won't count for a full history, though.

you know what, f*ck my plan to making a character with hardly any backstory.

his story starts in a hive were he was raised to sneak into ponies homes and steal there emotions, when he got old enough to leave the hive, the queen had a plan to steal the princess of love to feed all her children, a lavender unicorn was suspicious of the queen in her guise, the plan failed and the queen, as well as most of the hive died, but right before the shield blast hit him, he felt as if he was the only thing in existence...
