his story starts in a hive were he was raised to sneak into ponies homes and steal there emotions, when he got old enough to leave the hive, the queen had a plan to steal the princess of love to feed all her children, a lavender unicorn was suspicious of the queen in her guise, the plan failed and the queen, as well as most of the hive died, but right before the shield blast hit him, he felt as if he was the only thing in existence...

he is mostly black with a large patch of blue on his back, holes varying in sizes along the legs, fangs wings and hooves as well, pony in shape.

Love eater: since changelings eat strong emotions instead of food this allows this changeling to eat any strong emotion of anyone within 20 feet around him,the amount of time it takes relative to the amount of emotion he eats go's as follows,I will also explain the effects on the target as well, a small amount of emotion that will only suit him for a quick snack is instantaneous, this does not effect the target, the amount of emotion that suits for a full meal is 1 second for each point the target has in defense,this causes slight drowsiness and the target can't feel the emotion that was eaten for a few seconds, he can eat the choice emotion in its entirety,pretty much a feast for the changeling, this takes 1 minute for every point in the targets DEF stat,this makes the target fatigued and unless he wants to sleep for a few days because his body is trying to recreate the emotion, he can no longer feel that emotion,witch can end up helping the target if a negative emotion was eaten , he can also sense the emotions of anyone he has recently interacted with that is still in his range (if you don't count regret and guilt as 2 different things, I know of 7 strong emotions: love, hate,anger, joy, sadness, guilt, and fear, might expand this, might not)

Omni asked if the 'food' energizes him, let me clear something up, IT'S HIS FOOD, it does the same thing as food does to us, it gives us energy and nutrients to use and survive, the only difference, changelings don't need water to send that nutrients around the body.

I know I probably don't haft to pay for this but it's worth noting that changelings have fangs and a horn, he can use those in a fight to ram and bite respectively.it is also noteworthy (but obvious) that he has no hands, only hooves, strange to think that a bug has hooves.

Just a few friendly suggestions you can read when you're more awake.

First of all:

Shapeshifting – 1400 OM
This allows you to change your form into that of another humanoid or creature you have seen or can think of (no taller or wider than twelve feet, and no smaller than half of your basic size). Depending on the difference between one's current form and the form you are changing into, and your SPD stat, a shapeshift can be almost instantaneous or take up to ten seconds (if very complicated and with a very low SPD stat). This does not change your actual stats, like an Alternate Form would. So while you may become bigger, you won't actually become stronger. Actively molding your body will require the Malleability power. Those with Enhanced Senses will be able to pick up on the fact that you are not what you appear to be. Additionally, being hit with enough pain may cause your shapeshift to 'glitch' – this won't actually knock you out of the shapeshift, but can reveal you to be a fake, for example by causing colours to flicker.

Note: Any natural weapons gained in your shapeshifted state (such as claws) will be weak against other Primes unless purchased as a move. Limited shapeshifts such as simply gaining claws or talons do not require the Shapeshifting power, only the move.

So yeah, I doubt your second move will fly considering it's already a power. Also, you sure you want Hive Mind?

Hive Mind – 400 OM
A useful power for those who use Survival powers and required for Disassemble, this lets a character control all parts of their body regardless of whether or not they're still attached to their brain. Just got your arm cut off? You can make it choke your opponent whilst you close in for the kill. Just remember that detached body parts will eventually die if separated from the main body for too long (several hours).

I mean, you can get it, not going to stop you. I don't know what your plans are.


You will need ranged prof if you're going to attack people far away. I suggest writing "Love Eater" so you have to get close up (5 feet or less) to use it. At least until you have the necessary powers and profs for an upgrade, because you may need way more than ranged. With shapeshifting, finding victims won't be impossible. Plus anyways, may be more fun if it's actually challenging to claim victims. Imagine the roleplaying scenarios of finding a situation where your prey is alone. Delicious love.

I don't know what I was thinking with hive mind, not only does basic speed make more sense, but it might be of use more often than hive mind.

I guess shortening the range wouldn't be bad.

No no no, I think you're slightly confused.

Actively molding your body will require the Malleability power.

Shapeshifting allows you to take the shape of any other being you can think of (example: Changeling takes the form of Twilight Sparkle!) Malleability makes your body like playdough and you can form it however you want (example: Guu touches her own face and her arm melts into her own body.) That line is there to distinguish the difference between the two, you're not required to have Malleability to have Shapeshifting.

I couldn't aford shape shift without malleability either. and I took out hive mind and shortened range on love eater

Maybe take out flight for now. You can explain it away IC as your wings suddenly being too weak to fly with, and as soon as you've earned enough OM to buy the power, then you can have an in character moment where you can fly again.

Ooh! A young changeling could be interesting! Also could explain why we have yet to see one that could steal more than just love before, they're just a brand spanking new addition to the horde or something.

Well, it's up to you! I expect that particular Changeling is more good leaning considering he plays nice with other races. Would explain why he feeds off of other emotions. Difficult to be friends with ponies while you're eating their love.
