As it stands, Gildarts has only 3 canon moves. 2 of which I have made into supermoves (T1 and T2 and also have exercised the concept of giving him one of the 3 FT spells)
I'm pretty content with the moves he has, and have another supermove/idea up my sleeve for later, but, I can't help to wonder if I have 2 canon, why not make it inclusive of all three?
It is called Mizuwari, and it is a water based move that pretty much creates a tsunami (however I would also modify it into a wall of earth). I don't want to accumulate too many moves for Gildarts because I don't want to feel bored with too many selections and would much rather strategize a move into fitting the events of battle. But on the other hand it couldn't hurt to have an AOE move before I get into some gravity based selections.
Edit: I should also mention that Gildarts will be practically living in the Vastly Deep.
Thoughts on if the move is worth my time, and more importantly, my OM ?

In my opinion, an AOE move is a very good idea. I like to give my characters a 'crowd control' move in case things get hairy, though it seems like Gildarts is more of a brawler than most people I write and may not really need one. =P Still, I feel like it can spice up an otherwise bland fight scene.
Additionally, I think with him dwellin in the Deep, a water move would be quite fitting.

Thank you for the replies.
@Thaal That's a good question. Usually I just wait and ideas come eventually. I'll be buying ranged materialized eventually, if that helps? As for powers, Gild's power is meant to be more than enough of a display of his edge. But I'm holding off on any big purchases for the time being.

Stat increases are always a good idea.
We are Unbound and Limitless potential
Entomb in mongrel flesh and blood.
Imprisoned in a Cage
that Reduces us to that of a lowly
Human.

Why not ask the MAster of Moves? Explain to me what your character does?
I refuse to lose this battle,
Let whatever come my way.
I am stronger then my rival,
No, I will not fall today...

Tier 2/3 Super Defence — Denial Wall
within the Omniverse, Gildarts's powers are potentially limitless. By focusing his destructive energies into the world itself he can actually temporarily destroy the very fabric of the air in a limited area. For the purposes of this move Gildarts creates a wall of nothingness around three meters in diameter, leaving behind what seems to the naked eye to be a kind of fuzzy, static whiteness like that seen on a television.
By doing this in the right area at the right time, projectiles will simply be unable to pass through the field as there is nothing there to pass through. Of course, moves on par with this kind of reality-destroying power must exist, and might even be able to overcome the shield.
Tunnel Creation
A particular application of Disassemble, this allows Gildarts a more creative use of destruction. Though technique is not generally the mage's style, by channelling his crash magic in a more constrained way, he can disintegrate specific shapes into the ground, such as tunnels or even rooms. The only limitation is that it has to follow a path from his hand. It does take somewhat longer than his usual disassemble as this version takes more thought, but the weight he must bear is significantly less. He can destroy about two cubic metre of soil per second; this is slower for hard ground and faster for soft ground.
