Magic card decks

Here we can plan how to make magic card decks, like Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, and Card Catcher Sakuri (or however you spell it)

To make the cards appear, you will need ranged materialization
To trap, you will need debuff.
To boost your cards, you will need Buff.
To attack, you will need ranged attack.
For one shot monsters, they can work as moves.
For monsters who remain once played, you will need them as Assists.
Special armour or weapons count as moves.

What else can you think of being needed?

Can one "buff" Assists with moves? For example, to roleplay as an Equip Spell Card?

You'd probably need high SPD to avoid attacks more easily. Low ATK/DEF, so you can fit all your SP into SPD/TEC.

Sounds like I'm being a dick, but I don't agree with a thread being made spawning from my idea when I was mentioning it to anther and with all chimed in. I took 15 minutes to think of the idea on the way to a tournament, since I had conceded LoL and decided I was going to focus only on writing and Magic.and decided what would happen if after Malefactor, Retane Met Myself or Yami.

Or someone like a person called "The Summoner". Because Here,,,, Anything can happen. And It's Fun! Just Like Me jacking The Merchant from Resident Evil.

At first the deck would be empty, and instead of buying moves or assists, he could basically draw things into the cards, or something like that.
The matter of having a limited number of cards in his hand to choice from, and them being randomly selected would be interesting to deal with. Might actually be able to be used as a counter for having multiple character cards active at once. You'd have to speak with Omni on that.
