The Fading Emerald Light
#1
His hands had been amputated by a woman who he thought of as completely, and totally insane. Okay, she was more than just insane. She was a sadist, and a psychopath, probably. If that was the kind of members the Sinestro Corps wanted, Jack was definitely rethinking his plan of ever going to the Endless Dunes in an attempt to get information on the rings. Muttering obscenities as he trekked through the Omniverse handless, Jack realized he had a lot of work to do. For starters, he was going to need an alternative to the limbs he had once had. They were not good enough for his intended purpose,  and could not protect him should the need arise to do so. Jack was going to take his weak and frail body and mold it into a living weapon, a weapon the likes of which that insane Sinestro Corps Swordswoman would not see coming, and would be her downfall. It would be a fatal answer to what she had done to him, and her brutality she likely practiced across the Omniverse.

She made him boiling over with an emotion he had felt whenever Vince had bullied Rafael, or Miko. An emotion he had felt whenever the Decepticons had harassed humanity. An emotion Jack tried to bury deep within himself, and make certain could never see the light of day, for it was a darker emotion. A darker emotion he could use, to make sure he won. Now that he no longer possessed his limbs, Jack felt flood gates within him fill to the brim with a lava like feeling. It was something threatening to consume him unless he let it loose. Perhaps it was time he stopped playing nice with the citizens of the Omniverse, and showed them just how vicious someone who had been pushed to their limit could be.

While he had never been briefed about the Emotional Spectrum, or much else when he had received the ring, Jack had done some research upon arriving in the Omniverse. There were multiple emotions, not just the Green Light of Will, or it's counterpart, the Yellow Light of Fear. There were many other colors that one could harness. Red was the color of Rage, and hatred. Given form it was one of the most powerful, but also the most dangerous. Blue was the light of Hope. Of course hope had died within Jack when his hands had been brutally removed from his body. Indigo was the light of compassion. Compassion was not something he had any of for the woman who had removed his limbs. Green was the light of will, and he was not sure his will was up to snuff. Orange was the light of Avarice, or Greed, and Jack was by no means a greedy person.

White was the light of life, and Jack wasn't sure he fit it. Pink was the light of love, and again, there was no one Jack loved in the Omniverse. Arcee was just a replica he had created using Omnilium, and he knew that much. All in all there was only one emotion suitable to helping him with his long term goal of eventual revenge on the Sinestro Corps. It was an emotion that in other circumstances he'd have never considered using. However, here and now there was no one to pull him back from the brink unlike back home, and so Jack had no qualms about what he was going to do, when he got a set of hands.
