Hi Frisco!!
I directed a play that opened last weekend and closes this weekend in Atlanta. It’s an anti-sexual assault, political protest version of MEASURE FOR MEASURE by William Shakespeare. I also produced and adapted it. Basically it takes that story (about a dude who tries to coerce a woman into having sex with him so he won’t execute her brother) and places it in the sort of modern zeitgeist the anti-sexual assault movement has been going through.
It runs Friday thru Sunday at 8pm every day at a place called the Robert Mello Studio just outside the perimeter of Atlanta. I know we have some GA folks so if ya wanna come see it come on out! Tickets are $15. We haven’t been selling much but we’ve been getting rave audience reviews!

I pour cement floors, and do moisture mitigation. It's sort of an art.

Absolutely NOTHING.
...Jokingly, of course. I do play by post roleplaying outside of the site, and I've been somewhat considering getting into art commissions, but I'm not that good at them yet.
Occupationally? I've done "Brand Ambassador" stuff, which is like... technically modeling? Not that luxurious though- it's considered that so that they can fire you for no given reason. It's actually mostly just handing out free samples at places like Costco and Target and such. (Yeah, I bet you didn't know that according to (at least US) governmental standards most free sample ladies are actually independently hired models, did you?)
Also I'm on the volunteer board of a cemetery so I have to track finances there, as well as doing some landscaping work. Hence why I'll be a smidge busy this weekend for memorial day, since we've gotta get the cannon in there somehow and right now the place is something of a mess.

By day I'm an industrial/environmental engineer for an export company. I sell huge industrial equipment to the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
By night I do freelance writing, editing, and game design. My first big game project is a collectible card game with super involved lore and a serial fiction accompaniment. We just had our second round of paper prototypes printed and we're going to be Kickstarting and hiring programmers and artists hopefully by the end of this year.

Definitely the former, still evaluating whether the latter is viable. Competition is really stiff for paper games, even though I think this one blows everything but MTG out of the water in terms of complexity and unique gameplay.

Awesome. Let me know when its finished I'd love to try it out. And yeah, the digital market is a little less competitive. I'd say the only real big dogs of the digital realm are Hearthstone and Gwent.

Hearthstone is monolithic, and then there's Shadowverse, Eternal, Duelyst, Gwent, and a few others chugging along in the multiple millions of dollars a year sphere. I'd like to settle in with that second group in a few years. I play a lot of Hearthstone and MTG.

I playa decent amount of Hearthstone too. I'm not legend rank or anything, but I consistently hit Rank 2.

i work for Samsung. my official title is Lead technician samsung display repair europe. I lead a large team of people for a project that Samsung Korea presented to us. This is the first time this process has left their own factory and currently still is the world's only place that samsung supplies their original parts to in order to make this project happen.
My usual work day consists out of meetings ( local and through video meeting with Korea HQ) leading the team and people management. making sure we, as a team, hit the targets they set for us.
in short, i work with Samsung phones, tablets, and tv's

I put tires on cars and help out with lube service too. Still a novice at this stuff but I'm currently going to school to become a certified automotive technician. I realized now I do enjoy looking up more about cars rather newer stuff or classic stuff. One day, I would like to buy my very first classic car to work on and make it into a weekend car or days I feel like driving it. As of now, I'm a Jeep guy and plan to add more stuff to my Wrangler. It's always interesting what we do here outside the Omniverse! :yay:

I've been a school teacher. I'm about 3 weeks away from finishing up my fourth year, which has been extremely pleasant in terms of students and mostly agitating in regards to administrative nonsense and education bureaucracy. I'm looking into city college jobs as the next step of my career before I become too complacent and jaded raking in lots of money to work in city high school. Over the last four years, I've taught combinations of Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, whether that's honors classes, general education classes, or inclusion classrooms. The first year was a fucking shit show of awfulness, because I started late in the school year, teaching something I was weakest at (Physics, at the time), and they gave me the worst classes. Since then, I've taught other stuff and grown pretty steadily over the years. My second year, I taught 5 biology classes (4 inclusions, 1 honors). The students I had that year will be seniors next year, which is pretty bittersweet for me. Also bittersweet? I want to teach social studies/history, and my administration dicks around with it every year. I officially finished my Masters in History last year, and I don't think they realize how close I am to finding an Instructor job and fucking the fuck off. If I am still at my school next year, I'm considering getting an additional endorsement (HS teachers get cheap college, for real), possibly in special education.
I've been a football coach for two years. I'm the Special Teams Coordinator, which means I'm responsible for play-calling with kickoff, kickoff return, punt, punt return, and a handful of gadget plays. The change from year 1 to year 2 was drastic, as we had a new head coach with a very different (I'd argue ultimately a better) philosophy from the old HC. Unfortunately, our Year 2 was mostly freshman, and we blew a lot of leads and lost games we should have won. We're looking forward to continuity next year. I've been a science fair coordinator for 3 years. This last year, I did the whole fucking thing myself, and I'm still bitter about it (ask some of the staffers, they may recall my passive-aggressive rants in Skype). Even so, I've taken students to the City Science Fair (the third round) ever year, and this last year I had one girl miss qualify for States by like ONE FUCKING POINT. Frustrating, to say the least. I also run an informal chess club and a slightly more formal MTG club. I am solid at chess to the point where I'd like to coach a team next year, but I am absolute hot trash at MTG.
Outside of work, most of my creative energy goes here, if that's not clear. I did finally write and publish a novel, which is part of an attempt by me to be a semi-professional author. I was in the processing of setting up a website and some other stuff before I was pulled back here for both DA and some other stuff. I hope to start writing a follow up novel sometime this winter.
