I found myself in a black void. How did I get here? I had no clue. All I knew was that I was here. I looked around. There was nothing, for a few seconds. I had so many questions, so many concerns. Then, a grinning, white . . . entity, appeared to answer my questions.

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

I attempted to say something, to respond in some way, but I found I couldn't. A glowing orb appeared, all colors of the rainbow, seeming to glow in the darkness around me.

Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."

The orb seemed to absorb itself into my chest. It took me a few seconds to process what had happened, but when I had, I started to grow curious.

Then, the entity continued.

Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

With that, I found the blackness surrounding me replaced with a bright whiteness... and water. I was in a fountain of some kind. I swam out, my head buzzing with all the information I was given as my eyes adjusted to the sudden light. Sitting on the edge of the fountain, I began to collect my thoughts.

I can't believe this is happening... Did I just hit my head off a building, or is this shit real? Definitely feels real enough. I've been thrown into this... Omniverse by a guy called Omni, and given a substance called Omnilium... He sure loves himself, doesn't he?

I got up, surveying my environment - starting with the fountain itself. It was fairly simple, made mostly from concrete or something similar in a square shape. Water was shooting out from what appeared to be a pole of the same material. I then turned my attention to everything around me. There appeared to be objects in the distance in all directions.

Might as well see what those things are, I thought to myself, before beginning to walk in the direction of one of the objects, ready to set out into the world I'd been thrown into.

I found myself walking for a long time. An hour, at least. Maybe two. I couldn't tell. But, nonetheless, I arrived at... a portal of some sort. Fairly tall, and just as wide. The arch was made entirely out of some sort of shining metal. Two soldiers guarded the front of the portal, in some sort of white and black armor, carrying a type of gun I'd never seen before. They looked at me and nodded in silent greeting, but said nothing as I approached.

I decided to talk to one of the guards. "Where does this lead?" I asked, gesturing towards the portal.

"This is the gate to Coruscant. The heart of the Empire," the guard responded. "New Prime, I assume?"

"'Prime'?" I questioned the term. That's not something Omni mentioned - if he had, I couldn't recall.

After a few seconds - likely debating how to explain - the soldier elaborated. "A Prime is someone who was brought here by Omni. Effectively immortal, since Omni brings them back when they die, and they're able to summon both people and objects with Omnilium."

I took a few seconds to process this information. I got the whole 'anything you desire can be yours' thing, but other people? Did this guy seriously just say that I can create life? After a few seconds, I spoke up. "Thanks for the info... I'm gonna head into Coruscant now." With that, I began to walk past the two soldiers. They turned to look at me as I walked.

"Stay out of trouble, newbie," the other soldier said. I glanced at him for a few seconds, before nodding and turning to focus on the portal. With nothing else to do, I entered, ready to see what was on the other side.
