OM Transfer Request
#1
ICly, Warren is about to give Hecate some of his OM. This will be about 1000 OM to be exact that he will be loaning her as an investment in the future. As he is doing that ICLy, I would like the Omnilium transferred, if the staff members would be so kind as to help me with that.
#2
To do this, we would need to know exactly what you are exchanging the Omnilium for. Keep in mind that it must be exchanged for something tangible, such as an artefact or a bounty.

What Warren is doing is INVESTING in her. In a sense, he's giving her the OM as a loan, and she's to pay him back later when she's stronger.

Quote:Q26: Can I give my omnilium to someone else?
A: Only in exchange for something tangible. For example, as payment for a bounty, or purchasing an artefact. In order to make a transfer like this, use the help desk and link to the IC topic in question where the transfer takes place. Omnilium can be sent through the Dataverse as 'credit' but this still needs to be shown as taking place in character.

It is strictly against the rules to give a character omnilium for nothing. You may not transfer OM to an alt character for any reason. If we suspect people of abusing this system or trying to 'launder' omnilium to an alt, we may deduct OM or even ban people. If you try and give someone a ridiculous amount of omnilium for small task this will also be questioned.

Would purchasing the one move a character knows work, although Warren does not have Mimic?
#6
Technically, yes. Three caveats. First:1000 OM in exchange for a 300 OM Move is in the realm of giving "someone a ridiculous amount of omnilium for a small task". Second: Hecate does not actually possess any Moves at the moment. Third: you'd only be purchasing the... let's call it "right" to purchase that Move. You'd still need to buy it as normal, on top of paying off whoever you're getting it from.

Yes, but the rest is him ICLy investing in her. Which is the point.
#8
Actually just delete this, decided not to give any OM.
#9
Investments aren't tangible, hombre. As stated above.
