Reality Manipulation, Data Materialization, ETC.

So my question is about Reality Manipulation, Data Materialization, and many other similar abilities. 


The question is,  would they work on the Omniverse? 


For you see, they may be somewhat overpowered but I am not sure if they would be denied instantly.

You have the ranged materialise power. You can make things appear. I don't see why you can't change a wooden door into an iron one as well. You've also got OM to summon things out of combat. You can also make walls appear, or fire. And so on. As long as you have a move.

Just make a move for it. This doesn't need a power since the proficiencies let you do everything it might offer. You'll just need a move for each manipulation style thing.

As for data. Manipulating a prime or important robot character would require telepathy or OOC permission. Limited hacking in the Dataverse or whatever can be foddered, just get a fodder move so mods know what you want and can approve it.

I feel like you're being super vague in all of your questions. Like, you're trying to get very specific things approved or worked in.

Like Dane has said (and other people before him), put your ideas in the move workshop and see how it goes.

You can even manipulate the mind given you have Telepathy, something that is normally a big no no in other play by post rps. Whether or not it gets approved is based on how strong it is vs how costly it is. You might get to turn gravity into gravy for the 200 feet around your character but only as a super move.

Manipulating reality isn't hard to get approved.

Just look at my roster. Or...anyone's. They're all the same mechanics with different labels stuck on them.

Manipulating reality is literally what OM does. You'll have to be more specific if you want an exact answer.

Like for example, someone like Q from Star Trek who could snap things into existence, change buildings if he wanted to, things like that. I'm asking, as it's for some future stuff I have planned for Dupe.

That sounds like a move. Though you'd need a move for each specific instance. Look at Thaal's ring for a good example of a similar move.
